Thanks for stopping by!  I started this blog as a way to track my weightloss journey.  During this process I tried Tim Ferriss’ 4 Hour Body, a first attempt at primal/paleo (turns out I can’t eat unlimited amounts of bacon and still lose weight!), and ultimately found success with Take Shape For Life.

I’m now maintaining my weight with a balance of healthy whole foods (paleo/primal with occasional amounts of bacon) and a fair amount of calorie counting.  I try not too get crazy about it but kinda find it fun to figure out all the numbers.  I’m weird like that 😉

Throughout all of this I’ve discovered a passion for cooking!  As a chick who lived off of top ramen & lean cuisines for far too many years, this is a shocking discovery.  I like to post about my successes (and disasters?) here…as well as anything else that strikes me as fun to write about.  I like trying new things and being a better me.  Here’s how I’m doing it.

    Hey Allison! What workout did you follow? And di you do the Pagg stack?
